In the second round of public auctions held by the State Forest Management Centre (RMK) in the portal osta.ee, 91 of the 93 objects were sold, of which 88 were different vehicles and trailers. In total, 390 bidders attended the auction, making a total of 7602 bids. The total sales price of the objects sold was MEEK 4.05.

One of the organisers of the auction, Jaan Schults, the IT-Manager of the Forest Management Department of RMK, is happy with the results. "Both auctions have gone better than expected and been very popular among the participants," said Jaan Schults and added that only one vehicle was sold at the initial price.

Of the cars that were put on the auction, the average sales price of Suzuki Jimny was EEK 51,000, for larger off-road vehicles EEK 42,500, for pickup trucks EEK 34,500 and for passenger cars EEK 38,700. One printer and one copying machine also found a new owner at the auction.

The next auction in the portal osta.ee will begin already today, on 5 December, when the next 65 vehicles and trailers of different categories are put on sale. For example, 25 Lada Nivas and 15 Suzukis will be put on auction.

The vehicle fleet of RMK will be reduced by about a third through the auctions organised.
